For this project I redesigned three books in The Baby-Sitters Club series that revolve around Mary-Anne, the club’s secretary. I was inspired by her use of composition notebooks to keep record of the club meetings and the way that teens often decorate their notebooks with various stickers to create covers that expertly tie together elements and themes of the story through their design. Above is a mock-up of what the covers would look like and below are the covers themselves.
This book's story centers around Mary Anne and Logan beginning their relationship. To show this I included flowers, hearts, and a love letter.

This book involves Mary Anne getting a hair cut and starting to use make-up. The sticker elements on this book reflect that.

This story is about the birthday party of a high-strung little girl that Mary Anne babysits. The stickers include a birthday crown and party favors that one might see at a young girl's birthday.
